The mushroom or heart for some in Southern Crete underneath the monastery of Preveli and at the shore of the river Kourtaliotis.
This is the first of the two shots that are worth sharing while we were in Crete.
This is a combination of two shots taken 1 hour apart. The first one was taken when the last warm colour has vanished from the horizon and the second was taken one hour later when all the stars appeared on the sky. I used high ISO and large aperture to be able to capture more than the eye could see.
