It has been a year since my last entry of this ship and this is a shot I quite like but haven't shared it with you cause I didn't want to bore you with the same subject over an over. Different angle this time definitely different light.

Fantastic lighting and colors here. I have looked through your other photos of this ship and you certainly have the ability to capture this subject so well! DO you have any idea why this ship has been abandoned here like this? Clearly it has run aground, but normally, over time the ship would move with the changing tides, weather, and seasons. You mention that it has been here at least since 2007. Any idea what happened to it and why?

Strangely enough there isn't a lot of information about it. Local folk say it was a smugglers ship that lost engine and abandoned to its fate. It is there for more than 30 years and it will not move cause it is beached. Very shallow waters there and not any tide in Greece. The med is a very calm sea.

Thanks for the information. The med may be a calm sea there, but there are plenty of shipwrecks to prove the ferocity of storms in the Med--just maybe not here! Where exactly is this, may I ask?
