longish exposure + zoom out
reframed and made available for print Advanced Photography 101 1.taken outdoors 2.Weather conditions cloudy 3.right after the sun has disappeared from the horizon. 4.Nikon D70s/Nikkor 18-70 F3.5-5.4/Manfrotto tripod and head combo 5.Manual exposure with matrix metering mode. Shot in NEF (RAW) To achieve this kind of shot you need a long exposure and since there was still enough light i used a small aperture (F:22) to stop down as much as i could! this allowed me an exposure of 15sec. I zoomed to my lens max capacity (70mm) and pressed the shutter release button through a remote. During the 15 seconds of exposure i zoomed out to 17mm to create that movement effect. Pretty straight forward really. Nothing fancy. 6. Post work :I always apply this to my pictures which i think everybody should do it. [link] Pretty easy and once you get the hand of it it won't take more than 5 minutes to do. |

I always thought that you make a painting from a photo not the other way around.
